888r is more than a betting platform. We are a Malaysian gaming community built on trust, transparency, and a genuine commitment to responsible and enjoyable digital entertainment since 2018.
888r was founded with a clear vision: to provide a safe, fair, and enjoyable digital entertainment platform built specifically for Malaysian players. Not a generic platform translated from a foreign language, not an experience that feels alien — but something genuinely designed with a deep understanding of local players' needs, lifestyles, and expectations.
For over seven years, we have served more than 1.28 million members who trust 888r as their platform of choice for slots, live casino, poker, baccarat, badminton betting, and a wide range of other digital entertainment. The trust our members place in us is never taken lightly — it is the greatest responsibility behind every decision we make.
Recognised as a trusted digital entertainment platform among Malaysian users, based on independent user satisfaction research.
All data and transactions are protected with industry-grade 256-bit SSL encryption — the same standard used by Malaysia's major banks.
Withdrawals to Malaysian e-wallets such as Touch 'n Go and GrabPay are processed within 30 minutes — faster than most other platforms.
All slots and table games on 888r use a Random Number Generator (RNG) independently verified by internationally accredited testing bodies.
Six key features that have made 888r the choice of over 1.28 million Malaysian players across seven years of operation.
At 888r, protecting members' data is an absolute priority. We employ 256-bit SSL encryption on all connections, optional two-factor authentication (2FA), and a strict privacy policy that prohibits any sharing of personal data with third parties without explicit user consent. Your account, your balance, and your gaming history belong to you alone.
Read Privacy PolicyFrom culturally rich Malaysian-themed video slots and a Live Casino with Bahasa Melayu-speaking dealers, to Texas Hold'em and Omaha poker tables running 24/7, baccarat in multiple variations, and Sports Betting on BWF badminton tournaments — 888r offers over 500 game options, regularly updated with the latest titles from the world's leading software providers.
888r fully supports Malaysia's digital payment ecosystem. Deposits and withdrawals are available via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and FPX through Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. The minimum deposit is just RM10 — no hidden fees, no foreign currency conversion, all transactions in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) only.
888r is one of the few platforms truly built in Bahasa Malaysia — not just auto-translated. Every interface, game guide, notification, and communication is in your mother tongue. Beyond that, our customer support team operates 24/7 and can communicate fully in Bahasa Malaysia via live chat and email. 888r's live casino dealers also include those who are fluent in Bahasa Malaysia.
Over 78% of 888r users access the platform via smartphone — and we designed for exactly that. The entire 888r experience is built with a mobile-first approach. Whether you're spinning slots while relaxing at home in Subang Jaya, catching a live badminton match at an LRT station, or sitting at a baccarat table during your lunch break in KL Sentral — the 888r experience on your 6-inch screen is every bit as good as the desktop version.
888r believes that genuine entertainment can only happen in a responsible environment. We provide self-control tools including daily/weekly deposit limits, loss limits, session time limits, and the option to take a temporary break or self-exclude entirely. Our support team is trained to identify and assist members who may need additional help.
Responsible GamingEvery big journey starts with a single step. The 888r journey began in 2018 driven by one obsession — to build a digital entertainment platform that truly understands and serves Malaysian players. This is our story.
Fun fact: The name "888r" was no random choice — the number 8 is considered a symbol of good fortune in Asian culture, while the letter "r" stands for "responsible" — a commitment we uphold in every aspect of our operations.
If you ask why 888r has not only survived but grown over more than seven years in this highly competitive industry, the answer is simple — we never forgot who this platform was built for. From day one, every decision, every improvement, every new feature we introduced started with one question: "Does this truly help our Malaysian players?"
Malaysia has a uniquely distinct digital entertainment landscape. Malaysian players are tech-savvy, expect seamless and fast experiences, prefer communicating in Bahasa Melayu, and place great importance on the safety and trustworthiness of the platforms they use. Many major international platforms have failed to win over Malaysian players — not because their games aren't good, but because they don't understand this local context. 888r exists because we do.
One of 888r's core values that we never compromise on is game fairness. All slots and table games on 888r use a Random Number Generator (RNG) that has been audited and certified by independent international testing bodies. This means every slot spin, every baccarat round, and every poker deal is completely random — no one, including us, can manipulate the outcome.
For Live Casino, 888r operates its own live studio with high-definition cameras streaming every dealer movement to players in real time. There's no room for manipulation — everything happens right before your eyes as it unfolds. Our anti-bot and anti-collusion system for poker monitors all tables around the clock, ensuring a fair gaming environment for every member.
888r takes responsible gaming seriously. This goes beyond regulatory compliance — it is a value we genuinely hold. We recognise that a small number of players may struggle to manage their gaming habits, and our responsibility is to help them, not to exploit their vulnerabilities.
888r provides a full suite of responsible gaming tools that any member can activate at any time. These include daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits that you set yourself; per-session loss limits; session time limits; as well as a "cool-off" option (temporary self-exclusion) or full account suspension if needed. All these tools are free and easily accessible from your 888r account settings.
The 888r customer support team is also specially trained to identify signs of problem gaming and provide referrals to appropriate help resources. We work with local support organisations to ensure members who need assistance can access it easily.
Malaysians love football — from the Malaysia Super League to the EPL broadcast every weekend. We love badminton and celebrate every victory by Lee Zii Jia, Pearly Tan, and our national team on the world stage. We love slots with themes that resonate — batik designs, Malaysian landscapes, lucky symbols we actually recognise. We love baccarat and poker that move at a pace that fits our leisure time after work or on weekends.
888r has built its experience on a deep understanding of Malaysia's cultural and social context. That's why we offer slots themed around Malaysian heritage, live casino dealers who speak Bahasa Melayu, the most comprehensive badminton betting markets in Malaysia, and a payment system that uses the apps already on your phone — Touch 'n Go, which you use every day at the toll, GrabPay for ordering food, and Boost at your local mamak.
In today's digital age, personal data security is a top concern for every online user. 888r takes this responsibility very seriously. All connections to the 888r platform are encrypted with 256-bit SSL — the same standard used by Malaysia's leading financial institutions such as Maybank and CIMB. Our members' personal data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes without explicit user consent.
888r's security system also features real-time account activity monitoring that sends you an alert if anything suspicious is detected — such as a login from a new device or an access attempt from an unusual location. An optional two-factor authentication (2FA) feature adds an extra layer of protection to keep your account secure.
Over 1.28 million Malaysians have chosen 888r as their digital entertainment platform of choice. They come from all walks of life — young professionals in KL unwinding after work, university students in Penang spinning slots on weekends, parents in Johor Bahru following badminton matches with a bet on the side, and seasoned casino enthusiasts from Kuching and Kota Kinabalu who appreciate a wide selection of games.
